As the Project Manager for Materials Research, I design the body and fins for high-power competition rockets utilizing flat and cylindrical carbon fiber layups. I also assist in creating fin prototypes for a (newly) NASA-funded high-power rocket incorporating active fin control. In addition to this, I help identify and test potential new materials in order to ensure the success of our missions.
